Booker King’s Lynn celebrated the completion of a major refurbishment project last week with a relaunch event for its customers.

Work on the store in Hansa Road, Hardwick Industrial Estate, began in January and ended in April with a completely new look.

Said area manager Shaun Blackmur: “We are delighted with the improvements that have been made to the branch. We have increased both our frozen and chill capacity and overhauled the butchery department to offer a wider choice, great prices and a better service. These are really important areas to both our retail and catering customers and will help them operate a successful business.

“We have also improved the environment for our customers with the car park being resurfaced and we’ve also refitted the reception area so it is more welcoming. You do have to be a business to register at Booker as we are not open to the general public and I would encourage any business who is not registered with us, to come and meet my team as I’m sure we’ll be able to help them.”
