Briarfields Hotel at Titchwell is celebrating news that it has been included in the The Good Hotel Guide 2015: Great Britain & Ireland.
The independent hotel guide, which does not accept hospitality, advertising or payment for entry, is widely respected as one of the most authoritative sources of good places to stay in the UK and Ireland.
The 2015 edition features 844 hotels, inns and B&Bs, of which 80 are new entries. More than 100 properties featured in the 2014 edition have been omitted.
“We are absolutely delighted to appear in The Good Hotel Guide 2015,” says Briarfields’s marketing manager, Jac Sandy. “Briarfields’s inclusion is testament to our pride and pleasure in delivering outstanding service to our guests to ensure they enjoy a relaxing and restful stay.
“Earlier this year, Briarfields won a Mayor’s Award for Business which recognised the staff’s hard work and effort, and this is further recognition of the team’s excellence.
“We look forward to welcoming new guests who find us through The Good Hotel Guide 2015 and ensuring their expectations for fantastic accommodation and superb food are exceeded.”
The guide refers to the hotel’s extensive views of the sea and saltmarshes with access to RSPB Titchwell reserve and beach, its neat decoration and spaciousness and its food dishes based on local and home-smoked produce.
The hotel was awarded a prestigious three-star Hotel Gold Award by VisitEngland in November 2011.
