Feltwell’s Londis store has received official recognition for raising more than a £1 million for good causes through sales of National Lottery tickets.
In total a massive £1,210,954 has been raised which will go towards good causes helping people across the UK. A poster highlighting the achievement and reminding lottery players of their ongoing contribution will now go on display in the shop.
Delighted shop owner Dharini Sawjeevvijay said: “I’m so proud that my customers have helped me to raise so much money for National Lottery good causes. I couldn’t believe the amount when my Camelot representative told me.
“It’s great news for our local area, as well as for communities across the UK – I’ll certainly be talking to my customers about it.”
