King's Lynn Console Repairs for a Tuesday Live Competition Karl Pezzillo

WHEN Karl Pezzillo’s Playstation had a malfunction he decided to have a go at repairing it himself.

His DIY efforts paid off and inspired him, first to carry out repairs for friends and family, and now to set up his own business in premises at 8-12 Wootton Road, Gaywood.

Operating as King’s Lynn Console Repairs, Karl offers a complete repair service for the PS3, Xbox, Wii, PSP, laptops, laptop screens and most mobile phones.

Karl said: “If I cannot fix it there is nothing to pay.”

He also sells mobile phone and iPad accessories and laptop and Kindle cases and buys broken phones and consoles for cash.

He said: “I worked in industrial roofing for 25 years so setting up this business has been something of a gamble, although I did repair work from home and through Facebook contacts for several years.

“I felt there was a gap in the market for repairs on site and these premises were in an ideal location because there is parking close by and I could not afford to go into the town centre.”

He admits he is largely self-taught but says he has a brother who has even more expert knowledge so there is always someone to turn to.

King’s Lynn Console Repairs is open from 9am to 5.30pm and can be contacted on 01553 775709.
