KING’S LYNN: Gladwins pledges support for air ambulance

Gladwins Body Repair Centres have pledged to give long-term support to the East Anglia Air Ambulance, including the life-saving service’s new night-flying campaign.

Gladwins, which operates throughout East Anglia and has a base on Lynn’s Campbells Meadows, already supports the life-saving service and repairs damage to vehicles following an accident.

Chris Donaldson, area fundraising manager for the EAAA, said: “We are delighted to receive ongoing long-term support from Gladwins Body Repair Centres. This is a great example of corporate support from within the community that we serve. It will help to keep our doctor-led service and aircraft flying seven days a week for the people of our region.

“This donation is particularly relevant at the moment as we prepare to launch our night-flying campaign and become the first airambulance service in the UK to begin emergency work in the hours of darkness.”
