Two neighbouring Lynn businesses are each holding an open day to give clients the chance to find out about new developments planned for 2014.

The Spanish Academy, based at the Riverside Business Centre in Crossbank Road, and well-known Lynn company P & K Training Services, which has recently moved to new premises next door, are holding their open day events on Friday, February 7.

The academy will be unveiling its plans for the launch of a new French Academy next month following on from the success of the Spanish school.

Director of the Academy, Harriet Tucker, opened the private language school four years ago and relocated to the Riverside Business Centre last year. “I am thrilled with the success the academy has achieved throughout West Norfolk,” she said.

“We are very pleased to announce that our sister school, the French Academy will be opening in February, which is also aimed at all ages. The positive thing about our academies is that they are very flexible and we work around students so that they can learn at a time and date to suit them.”

There will be a chance to meet the French teachers at the open day and find out details about classes. Information is available by emailing info@spanish-espanol.com, calling 07967399335 or visiting www.spanacademy.co.uk

P & K Training Services are inviting people to drop in at their offices between noon and 5pm so they can look around and find out about what it has to offer. Some of its most popular courses are First Aid at Work, Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Moving and Handling, Paediatric Frist Aid and Safeguarding Children.

It can also provide small event cover for events such as a company open day, or sports and club events, making available advanced first aid cover plus the necessary equipment to deal with minor or serious incidents.
