West Norfolk businesses will be given the chance have their say on what they consider both local and national governments should be focusing on as priorities.

North West Norfolk MP Henry Bellingham is due to attend the breakfast debate at Lynn’s Duke’s Head Hotel on Friday, October 3, which is hosted by West Norfolk Chamber Council.

Members are invited to put forward their ideas for a Business Plan for Norfolk.

Heather Garrod, president of West Norfolk chamber Council said: “The UK stands at a crossroads. Over the next five years, we can become a more confident, more enterprising trading county – or retreat into slow but very real decline.

“The decisions taken during the next parliament will have a profound impact on West Norfolk’s ability to grow businesses here at home and trade across the world. We need a business plan for Norfolk for government, both local and national, to focus their attention on creating the best possible environment for growth, aspiration and enterprise.”

The event, which costs £18 and runs from 8am-10am, is for members only but anyone thinking of joining Norfolk Chamber of Commerce should call 01603 625977.
