Solicitors offices in Lynn and Heacham taken over by established law firm

Ward Gethin Archer Solicitors have increased in size and taken over another West Norfolk office having acquired another firm of solicitors.

Staff and lawyers from Berry and Walton, which had offices in Lynn’s King Street and High Street in Heacham, have joined Ward Gethin Archer following the new arrangements which came into effect on Monday.

The Berry and Walton team in Lynn have moved to the Ward Gethin Archer premises on Lynn’s Tuesday Market Place, and the Berry and Walton premises at 8 High Street in Heacham, has become part of the Ward Gethin Archer group of offices, offering traditional values and local service.

Managing partner Chris Dewey said: “We will continue to provide all our clients with the same high quality services they are already used to, and we are all looking forward to committing to, and expanding the business in Heacham.”

Ward Gethin Archer now has seven branch offices in Dereham, Ely, Heacham, Lynn town centre, North Lynn industrial estate from April, Swaffham and Watton and now employs 120 people, including the seven who have joined from Berry and Walton.

The 11-strong partnership and their team of lawyers and support staff are committed to serving their local areas, they understand the unique characteristics of their regions and are committed to serving local people for all their legal requirements, added Mr Dewey.
