Dublin’s finest have announced they will return to Thetford Forest to join a line-up that already includes Paul Weller and Blondie next July

Lead vocalist Danny O’Donoghue said: “We loved our Thetford forest debut to a sell-out crowd in 2011 and can’t wait to get back on that stage again. Hope to see you there.”

Since the release of their eponymous debut album in 2009, The Script broke Britain, then the U.S. then everywhere from Asia to South Africa with their meticulously-crafted and meaningful songs such as We Cry, The Man Who Can’t Be Moved, Nothing and For The First Time.

Generating sales of over four million albums and a staggering nine million singles, amassing almost four million followers on Facebook and 1.5 million on Twitter, the band are truly established in the global arena.

Their third and latest album release, appropriately entitled #3, sees band members Danny O’Donoghue, Mark Sheehan and Glen Power continuing their success and includes the hits Six Degrees Of Separation and Hall Of Fame featuring Will.I.Am.

Forest Live is an independent programme organised by the Forestry Commission bringing music to new audiences, income generated from ticket sales is spent on improving the local forests for both people and wildlife.

The Script plus special guests will be performing on July 11 at Thetford Forest, near Brandon, in Suffolk.

Tickets cost £32.50 and go on sale at 9.00am on Friday from the Forestry Commission box office tel 03000 680400 or buy online at www.forestry.gov.uk/music
