WEST NORFOLK: Bands can get a great opportunity

West Norfolk’s diverse music scene will welcome a chance to compete against bands from across the whole of the East of England for prizes including recording time, tours and festival dates, when Majick Music Group’s Battle of the Bands 2013 comes to Lynn.

A spokesman for MMG said: “The competition has already taken bands from their first show to London headlining performances and gaining their first record deal.

“The prizes on offer are
designed to support new talent.”

The competition, which is due to take place in venues across Lynn, Norwich, Bury St Edmunds and Ipswich from Janury to April, will see the winners compete in the MMG UK final in Milton Keynes in March 2014.

Local bands can request an entry form by emailing majick@live.co.uk with the subject EAST ENG ENTRY.
