Country Grounds Maintenance Ltd is keeping up it an impressive record of winning a leading national award for landscaping.
The firm, which has offices and customers throughout East Anglia with a head office at Bexwell Business Park, near Downham, has just received an accolade for a project near Great Yarmouth.
The award has been given by the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI) for its soft landscaping works at Hopton Holiday Park after a rigorous judging process.
The judges were impressed by the high level of workmanship achieved. The award follows on from previous success in 2012, when CGM won two BALI awards and was the only BALI award winner in Norfolk, and in 2014 when it picked up another for its outstanding maintenance of Kings House Gardens in Thetford.
Luke Hamill, director of operations and development at the CGM Group, said he was thrilled to learn the business had now achieved four BALI awards in four years.
He said: “We undertake many projects across East Anglia and always try to demonstrate a quality service with attention to detail which we deliver to our customers.”
Greg Allen, chairman of the BALI adjudication panel, said: “Our BALI awards judges have again travelled the length and breadth of Britain visiting some truly outstanding landscape schemes created and maintained by BALI members.
“The standard of workmanship achieved is inspiring and we have been particularly impressed by client comment to the judges that has invariably highlighted a very strong client relationship being fundamental to the their scheme’s success.
“Working closely with their clients to meet any challenges with workable solutions would appear to eb BALI members’ strong suit.”
This year CGM is celebrating its 30th anniversary having been founded in 1985 by Tim Glover, who first set out maintaining the churchyard for a parish council.
Two other business owned by CGM are Glover Agricultural Contractors and the Downhsm Country Garden Store.
