A firm of electrical specialists has stepped in to help The Bridge for Heroes in Lynn as a thank-you for all the many things the charity does for the community.
Elecheck (EST) Limited, based in Waterbeach, Cambridgeshire, agreed to do all the fixed wire testing free of charge for The Bridge for Heroes, which provides support for both current and former members of the armed services.
Marketing manager for Elecheck, Chris Sims, said: “I recently had the privilege of being able to visit the offices of The Bridge for Heroes where we agreed to complete all the fixed wire testing for free. I was amazed at the amount of work that they do for the community.
“The passion that came from Helen and Mike Taylor was contagious and the fact that we are able to support our armed forces veterans has been a huge honour for Elecheck.”
Bridge for Heroes supports veterans and their families suffering from post traumatic stress disorder and arranges referrals to appropriate organisations, respite breaks, support sessions, volunteering opportunities and assists with advice on pensions, housing and military family research. It also offers training sessions and help with CV writing and interview techniques. Chris Sims is pictured centre with Helen and Mike Taylor of The Bridge for Heroes.
