The Farm Shop and Deli Awards, which celebrate the best of the UK’s specialist food and drink market, has opened entries early for the 2017 competition.
To allow more time for businesses to prepare their answers, the launch date has been brought forward to Monday, July 4, with the deadline for entries closing on Friday, September 16.
Category awards are up for grabs across 12 different specialisms with nine regional awards also available – plus the coveted Farm Shop and Deli Retailer of the Year.
Last year Wells butcher Arthur Howell took the title and was also named the Butcher of the Year for the East Anglia region. He said: “The win helped cement north Norfolk’s reputation as one of Britain’s top culinary hot spots.”
