Women have the opportunity to attend more free workshops run by Norfolk Chamber of Commerce to learn how to grow their business more effectively.
The Faster Women workshops, which are aimed at women wanting to increase their knowledge and confidence using social media and the internet, take place in Lynn on Monday, January 26.
From 9.30am-1pm, the “First Steps” workshop kicks off at Yours Business Network in Bishop’s Lynn House on the Tuesday Market Place. It is aimed at those starting out with an online presence and people can learn how to plan a website, choose a platform, and about the pros and cons of self-built websites and content management systems.
In the afternoon the same day, from 1pm to 4.30pm, is a “Moving On” workshop, aimed at those who want to improve their visibility online.
This workshop will focus on the different social media platforms available, how to measure success, and how to increase rankings in search engines.
Both of these workshops follow on from the success of introductory workshops held in December and they are ideal for beginners or the more internet savy. Women can book onto both levels if they wish as they are on the same day at the same location.
Lunch and refreshments are provided. All delegates will be offered one-to-one mentoring support to help implement what they have learned.
