A gift shop in Lynn’s High Street has seen trade build and regular customers return in its first few months since opening.

Jaine’s Gift Box, at the Saturday Market Place end of the street, is the fulfilment of a longheld dream for proprietor Jaine Button, of Wisbech, who has several years of experience in retail. She said: “I have always wanted to have my own unique Aladdin’s Cave. My products are quite different and people are coming along to discover something which is a bit special.”

Jaine, who is pictured with her daughter Gemma Button, sells all kinds of giftware, including hand made soaps, soap bombs, candles, cards, jewellery, bags and stationery. Her stock includes designer ware by Gisela Graham, Jelkycat and Caroline Gardner. The shop is open six days a week from 9am to 5pm and can be found on Facebook.MLNF15PM10022
