The award-winning Norfolk Deli in Hunstanton will be getting into the Christmas spirit when its transforms its cellars into a magical foodie grotto.
Its Christmas event, on Friday, November 13, will feature English wines, especially from East Anglia.
Mark Kacary managing director said: “We are hoping that once tasted, this will persuade many more people to drink a Norfolk or East Anglian wine with their Norfolk Turkey this year.” There will be a number of wines available to taste from Winbirri Vineyard (Surlingham), Humbleyard Wines (Mulbarton), Pickenham Estate Wines (Swaffham) and Giffords Hall Vineyard (Suffolk).
The Norfolk Sloe Company will also be giving people the chance to try their Black Shuck Sloe Gin and some of their fruit liqueurs.
The recent installation of a gift hamper station offers people the chance to take a look at hampers available to purchase on-line www.norfolk-deli.co.uk/gift-hampers as well as to discuss any individual requirements.
The Deli’s Christmas event is from 3pm to 7pm. The town’s Christmas Cracker event takes place on November 29.
