Specialist construction company Chalcroft Ltd, based in Lynn, has continued its support of the East Anglian Air Ambulance service by raising £730 at its annual golf day – with the help of World Cup winning All Blacks rugby star Sean Fitzpatrick.

Held at Barnham Broom, the golf day was attended by around 50 customers and suppliers, who took in a round with Sean before retiring to the 19th hole for dinner and a fundraising raffle. Following the meal, Sean gave a rousing speech on the importance of teamwork and the will to succeed. Mark Reeve, managing director of Chalcroft, said: “Sean was an ideal after-dinner speaker as his views on the crucial nature of teamwork is matched by our own approach – as is the notion of being committed to success. We are proud to have supported the vital East Anglian Air Ambulance for several years and have now raised in excess of £3,000 for the charity.”
