The world’s largest car wash company, IMO, has invested £150,000 on the refurbishment of its Lynn site, which includes the installation of the latest advanced technology for cleaning vehicles.
And to mark its colourful hi-tech conversion IMO is offering a special deal to Lynn News readers of a half-price car wash.
Located on North Street, the car wash site has seen a large investment in its equipment, precision engineered in Germany, and staff training. As a result it now provides a high quality of car washing in less than three minutes and can clean up to four vehicles at a time. Windows have been installed along the length of the building so people can see the wash in action.
Its unique Mitter technology has been developed over the last ten years to attract dirt from the paintwork. The Mitters, which have been extensively tested by the Paint Research Association (PRA), are scientifically proven to cause no measurable abrasion offering a much safer way to wash vehicles.
The manned IMO car washes feature substantially less moving parts than any other automated wash to offer a consistently high quality of cleaning. It also uses biodegradable cleaning products and recycles 85 per cent of all water used in the cleaning process, ensuring that it’s as environmentally friendly as possible.
Site operator, Russell Hellwig, said: “This is the best upgrade we have had at the site, which has been in operation for 15 years. Now the windows are in place people can see the car washing in action.”
IMO is offering Lynn News readers a Triple Foam wash, for £2.75, which is half its normal price of £5.50. Simply take a copy of the Lynn News to the car wash before Sunday, December 13.
