King’s Lynn company celebrates 40th anniversary with national contract

Lynn-based scurity firm CTS Security is celebrating its 40th anniversary year with a major deal covering 21 sites for a national electrical retailer.

The company, which specialises in electronic security and covers the east of England, has just signed the deal with electrical retailer, Hughes. This move takes the company closer to its vision of becoming the region’s most trusted security experts.

CTS is well known locally for installing and maintaining intruder alarms in people’s homes, but for the last 40 years the business has grown steadily in the commercial sector and now supplies a wide range of businesses with cutting-edge security systems throughout East Anglia.

Technological advancements have made it possible to install reliable wireless systems and High Definition CCTV so clear that it can be streamed directly to a smartphone.

Hughes Electrical chose to work with CTS because they were confident that the combination of fire and intruder alarms through a single supplier would save them time and money.

Tony Marsden, of Hughes Electrical, said: “We were looking for someone to provide good quality advice and installation with prompt service, and overall do a good job. I needed to be able to trust someone to get on with the job, as you can’t always do that with some of the other companies out there.’

CTS has been serving companies and homes from offices at the South Gates roundabout for 40 years. Managing director Roy Fayers credits the company’s staying power to two main factors – trust and technological expertise.

Roy said: “CTS are the local security experts and have been for a long time. We see businesses come and go, but no one comes close to offering the expertise and the service that we can. We continue to develop and retain good staff, which in turn keeps our customers loyal and happy.’

As part of the 40 year celebrations, CTS Security is offering local home and business owners the opportunity to win the latest in security – monitoring to a smart phone worth £600, and all entries can receive a free security survey of their home or business.

To enter, email your name, address and telephone number (and the name of your business if appropriate) to: quoting ‘40 year competition’ in the subject line.

The closing date is June 30. Winners will be notified by email.
