Lynn’s Learning Resources was celebrating double success at a national awards ceremony last week when both the company and its managing director were recognised for their achievement.

The company, which specialises in educational toys and is based at North Lynn Industrial Estate, walked away with the Education Exporter of the Year in the Education Resources Awards, highlighting the expertise the company has in marketing and selling their products overseas.

And Dennis Blackmore, company MD, was recognised with Outstanding Services to the educational supply industry following nearly 40 years within this business sector. He set up Learning Resources from his home in Lynn in 1994.

He said: “It is a true honour to gain the esteem of one’s peers, and I take that away from what has been a very humbling experience.”

The awards are hosted by national trade association BESA and honour the quality and diversity of products used in schools and by dedicated members of the education sector.
