A fascination with computer games as a child inspired Paulius Lukosius to forge a career in IT and now he has opened a specialist business in Lynn.

Paulius, who grew up in Lithuania, is now director of Kybernet Ltd and works with his business partner and co-owner Tomas Rudys at their base at 15 St James Street.

“When I was 12, my dad bought me my first computer. It was for games, of course, but I later became interested in software creation and hardware repair,” said Paulius. “When I was 17, I got a job with the biggest computer sales shop network in Lithuania where I became a technician.” He carried on gaining IT experience in other jobs in Lithuania and from 2011 worked on a self-employed basis in the UK before setting up Kybernet Ltd together with Tomas, who has a degree in economics.

Their business offers an extensive range of services, including laptop and desktop PC repairs, and sales of numerous accessories, such as monitors, speakers, headsets and memory.

They also sell new and second-hand pcs and tablets and components for laptops, such as plastic buttons and covers.

“We offer a high-quality, fast and competitively-priced computer repairs. Recommendations can be provided on request,” said Paulius.
