To mark the news that their company had gained a prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise, staff from Lynn’s Hotter shoe shop turned on the patriotic style last week.

Staff at the High Street store wore red, white and blue, decorated the shop and invited customers to help celebrate the news over a slice of cake.

Store manager, Rochelle Tucker, pictured right, said: “It went really well and customers were impressed with our news. People like to know that the company they are buying their shoes from has won a Queen’s Award.”

The Hotter retail network has grown from five stores in 2010 to 75 at present by focussing on designing exceptional shoes and accessories.

At its HQ in Lancashire it develops and manufactures shoes for global markets and ships more than two million pairs of shoes around the world each year.
