A care assistant and home trainer at Hickathrift House in Marshland St James are celebrating working at Barchester Healthcare for ten years.
They have both been presented with awards to mark their long service.
Louise Pegg, now a care assistant, started at Barchester in January 2005 as a kitchen assistant and worked as a bank care assistant. She decided
to concentrate on care and moved to the care department in June 2014.
Elizabeth Hodgkiss, now a home trainer, started at Barchester in February 2005 as a care assistant and worked her way up to a senior position in February
2011, also working within the laundry and with the cleaning team during this time. She then had the opportunity to work as the home trainer, which she began in July 2012. They have both worked with residents and their relatives to ensure that their needs have been met over the years. To celebrate this achievement they were both presented with a bouquet of flowers, crystal award and a gift card.
