Thanks to the incredible generosity of our loyal readers, the Lynn News Help Our Hospice Appeal is approaching an amazing £20,000.

The total in the appeal pot has reached an impressive £19,383 leaving just £5,617 still to raise in order to reach the overall target of £25,000.

We’re nearly there! But we still need that extra help to achieve our goal, which will ensure that one of the in-patient rooms at the Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House in Hillington will be fully equipped.

All of the appeal money will be used to buy specialist medical equipment, such as the bed, a hoist system, mattresses, en-suite facility, nurse call system, syringe driver and piped oxygen system plus other items needed for the room including bedding, TV and technology and the furnishing.

We’ll support your fundraising events all the way, with publicity in the Lynn News and additional help from the fundraising team at the hospice if needed.

So if you are planning a fundraiser and want to let everyone know about it, please get in touch and we’ll make sure you get publicity in advance and send a photographer to cover your event on the day,

It’s an opportunity for businesses, groups, clubs and individuals to get involved with helping this vital service in the community – and to have fun along the way.
