People with aspirations to set up their own business had the chance to take advice from experts when NatWest’s mobile business school rolled into Lynn.
The school is housed in a specially converted double-decker bus, kitted out with resources to educate and inform would-be business owners who board about starting up on their own.
On its visit, staff from the local NatWest team were aboard to give their time and expertise to those seeking information as the bus parked up in Vancouver Quarter.
Representatives from the Vancouver Quarter, Fraser Dawbarns Solicitors, Clenshaw Minns Accountants, Ward Gethin Archer and Mapus Smith & Lemmon were also on hand to speak with visitors.
Maria Plumb, local business specialist for NatWest, said: “As a bank we’re looking to inspire people to see enterprise as a real career option. We have
the knowledge to help demystify the process of setting up on your own and are passionate about supporting local people in realising their business dreams.
“We’ve had a great response in Lynn and hope that those who boarded the bus found it worthwhile. Hopefully we will have inspired one or two people to look at their own entrepreneurial ambitions.”
