Central England Co-operative Society will be opening the doors to a new funeral home in Gaywood on Friday, January 29.

The funeral home opens in the premises formerly occupied by DezynaDog on Wootton Road and the business has created ten new jobs.

Funeral Director, John Barry, said: “This is a very exciting time for my team and I and preparations for the big day are well under way. The Community and Dedication Day will begin at 10am and we are holding a Dedication Service at 1pm.

“Locals have the opportunity to meet the Lynn team, learn more about pre-paid funeral plans, explore the funeral home, enjoy light refreshments and be in with a chance of winning a luxury food hamper. We look forward to seeing people there.”

The funeral home offers a 24-hour service, seven days a week. In addition to arranging funerals, John and his team are also able to offer advice on floral tributes, monumental masonry, funeral stationery, pre-paid funeral plans and probate advice. The team can be contacted on 01553 768970.
