A mother and her daughters have opened a new shop in Lynn’s Tower Street to meet the growing demand for top quality hair extensions.

Secret Hair Extensions is run by Julie Holland with her daughter Bryony, 21, in a front of house role, and second daughter, Evie, 20, taking care of marketing.

The salon follows on from Julie’s successful online business supplying extensions and accessories for fitting them which she has run for the past eight years.

She said: “I have been doing extensions on a mobile basis, and I am so confident that the market is out there, that I decided to put my life savings into this shop. Evie is also keen to set up another shop in Leeds, where she is at university, so we decided to get a shop in Lynn up and running first.

“We use Russian and Mongolian human hair, which is known for its top quality. We have a station set up in the salon so people can come in and try the extensions first to see if it’ what they are looking for.”

Extensions, which are 100 per cent human hair, can be dyed to customers’ requirements. They are fitted using tiny copper rings which are then clamped into position. No glue or chemicals are used. They can removed at the salon after around six to eight weeks and then reattached further up the hair.

The shop is open six days a week, from 9am to 5.30pm, but evening appointments can be made by arrangement. Contact the shop on 01553 773721 and for more information about the products visit www.secrethairextensions.co.uk
