A new crafts enterprise in West Lynn got off to a flying start on its opening day and is delighted with the positive response from visitors.

Sprinkle Twinkle Ltd based at Unit 24, East Coast Storage, Clenchwarton Road, has been opened by expert papercrafter, Natalie Pilgrim, assisted by her partner, Darren Gibson.

He said: “The day went extremely well and we had a steady stream of visitors who were very enthusiastic about the business. We have had some excellent feedback, too, with compliments on good access for disabled people and an appreciation that we are working within the community.

“People also liked the idea that we will be running craft classes and are keen to come along and try their hand as soon as they are up and running.”

Natalie, who makes all kinds of things from cards to gift boxes, is inviting other crafters to run workshops at Sprinkle Twinkle, such as decoupage, embroidery and crochet.

And she has secured a booking for one of the UK’s leading card makers, Pete Hughes, of Sizzix, who will be giving demonstrations all day on Saturday, September 27.

The business will be holding classes on a regular basis for beginners, over-55s and parent and children groups. It is also keen to hear from people who may be interested in joining a craft club during the school holidays or after school.

Sprinkle Twinkle, which is open 9am-5pm Monday to Saturday, can be contacted on 01553 770807 or by email on
