Music students at Lynn’s College of West Anglia are in final preparations for their major music projects that will see them performing in their final show - In Your Face.

The show takes placeon Wednesday, February 5, when 14 students from the BTEC level three course, under the guise of Custard Pie Promotions, will present a culmination of months of hard work.

Two stages on the night will see seven bands, with three main acts, performing both original and cover material to showcase the wide range of musical styles studied throughout the two-year course.

The students have called the event “a festival in an evening” and say it is unlikely that many events would cover this much musical ground in one night.

Callum Price, drummer from rock band, Hella Kitty, said: “This performance will hopefully be one of the largest audiences I have played for. I am really looking forward to this opportunity”.

Dominic Smith, guitarist from Knee Deep, said: “This is one of my last gigs before I leave for university and I hope to give the audience a night to remember.”

Since the course began at the college in 1995, it has helped many students progress into higher education and the music industry, including top-ten selling artists and world-renowned guitarists.

Tickets for the show cost £5 on the door, or £3 in advance from the box office on 01553
