Norfolk Chamber stages courses on international trading for businesses

Norfolk Chamber of Commerce is running a series of specialised training courses to help businesses keep abreast of issues relating to international trading.

The courses are designed to help people who may just be embarking on trade overseas and also for those who are more experienced but might benefit from a refresher.

The courses, which are all British Chamber of Commerce accredited, are open to chamber members and non-members and take place at the Norwich Business Park.

Import Procedures, takes place on Wednesday, November 5, 9am-4.30pm; Agents and Distributors, is on Thursday, November 20, 9am-12.30pm; and Inward and Outward Processing Relief, is also on Thursday, November 20, 1pm-4.30pm.

BCC Accredited Training consists of ten full or half day courses. Candidates achieving Pass or Merit will receive a certificate for the area they studied. Those who pass six courses will achieve a nationally recognised Foundation Award in International Trade.

Norfolk Chamber is also running a new series of six events highlighting potential export markets. These start on Tuesday, October 14 at the King’s Centre, King Street, Norwich, which looks at Poland, and continues on Tuesday, November 11, at Barnham Broom Hotel, when Mexico is reviewed.
