New houses at a Persimmon Homes development at Terrington St Clement go on sale for the first time this weekend.

From Saturday, March 4, properties will be offered off plan at the site named Salterns, a reference to the village’s salt-making heritage. When complete there will be 51 houses and bungalows at the site off The Saltings.

Nova Eames, head of sales at Persimmon Homes East Midlands, said: “We’re delighted to be on the verge of launching this exclusive new development in Terrington St Clement, providing much-needed new homes to the area.

“With a mixture of three, four and five bedroom houses as well as two and three bedroom bungalows, there really will be something for everyone from first time buyer to downsizer.

“We are expecting these properties to be in high demand and have already taken a number of inquiries, so people will need to act quickly when they are released for sale to make sure they snap up their preferred plot.”

There will be 14 different house types on the site, ranging from The Edmund, a two-bedroom detached bungalow, to The Corfe, a stunning five-bed detached house.

Ten of the properties will be affordable.

The site was last used as a nursery. As part of the planning agreement, Persimmon will create 1,380sq metres of open space for residents to enjoy.

Nova added: “As a company we are committed to supporting the communities in which we build and already we have donated money towards the refurbishment works at Terrington Village Hall.”
