Freelance business consultant Richard Crisp, of Watlington, is behind a new project aimed at helping people to cope with stressful situations.

He has lined up a number of specialist speakers in what he calls the Script-Busters Roadshow to give talks at Watlington Village Hall, with the first taking place on Saturday, October 10. He said this is aimed at anyone who is struggling to cope in certain situations, whether it’s a parent having problems with young children or teenagers, a partner with relationship difficulties or an employee having issues at work. He said: “If given the choice, most of us would opt to feel better, but then most of us are unaware that we have a choice.”

Part of the proceeds from the talk will go towards the roof appeal for the village preschool. Richard has also self-published his book on the subject, after extensive research. He describes it as a “simple man’s journey to find simple answers to the complexity of the human mind”.
