Shaun Bedford returns to Chalcroft as a quantity surveyor and will be working at the Lynn base. He brings the team to a total of nine qualified surveyors. His skills include estimating and budget management, tender negotiation, management of subcontractors and measured valuations.

He will also be responsible for procurement, pricing and contractual negotiations as part of the Chalcroft team, and has more than 15 years’ industry experience.

And also joining the business at Lynn is Shaun Parnell, who takes on the newly-created position of financial controller. Shaun, a chartered accountant, has more than 11 years of experience both in private practice and in industry and commerce.

Brendan Reilly takes on the newly-created role of commercial director and will be working at Birmingham, while Declan Burke joins as design manager and will be working at all of Chalcroft’s sites.

Managing director, Mark Reeve, said: “After a period of sustained and robust growth we were in a position to expand our team and have made four strategic appointments. With more than 60 years of experience between them, our new recruits will bring new perspectives and varied expertise.”
