A change of premises has proved to be a positive move for a ladies’ clothing business which now has a home in Castle Rising.

Allez Chic, which is run by Cheryl Daubney, is now based at the The Old School in the village having previously been located at East Rudham.

“My former shop at East Rudham was far too small and I had always been drawn to Castle Rising as it is a very pretty rural village,” said Cheryl. “I also wanted to be near to other businesses to be able to increase footfall.

“I now have much more room to display my ranges in a user-friendly way. There are spacious changing rooms, everything is set out on one level, which is ideal for people who may have disabilities, and the parking is convenient,

“The Old School is a beautiful building, with high ceilings and beams. I have installed modern lighting and there is also good natural light. It is a place of great character and people seem to enjoy the ambience.”

Customers are delighted with the new surroundings and Cheryl says she has already seen an increase in the number of visitors since moving at the end of February.

The shop features ladies’ quality clothing, including casual day wear and smart casual outfits. It also has a range of children’s clothes, and accessories, such as handbags.

Next spring Cheryl plans to expand her collections, particularly for smart occasional wear.

Allez Chic is open Monday to Saturday, 10am-4.30pm. More details can be found at www.allezchic.co.uk and the shop can be contacted by phone on 01553 631915.
