Visitors have streamed through the doors to Hunstanton’s newest tourist attraction, K and K Machines, which opened the doors to its new bigger premises just before Easter.
The business, run by John and Angela Pickering, was formerly located in a small workshop just off Greevegate but has moved to a new retail centre and workshop at Harlequin House in Beach Terrace,
Director Henry Head said: “The move has been a great success. Old customers love it, and a lot of new ones have flowed in through the doors. Easter weekend went very well and since then we have inquiries about sewing courses and embroidery and have sold lots of fabric. It has been a good move.”
The attraction features a retail embroidery centre for leisurewear plus cards and gifts which have all been designed and made on the premises. K&K’s existing embroidery work for clubs and businesses will continue as usual.
Visitors can try their hands at using the three patented long-arm quilting machines and there’s more room available for the regular courses.
