Businesses across West Norfolk will have the chance to learn more about exporting to markets across the Hanse Economic Area at a convention in May.
West Norfolk Council has teamed up with UK Trade and Investment and Business HANSE Ltd to organise the event.
The Hanse Business Convention 2015 is designed to highlight export opportunities and assist with business-to-business links throughout the Hanse area, in Germany, France, Netherlands, Finland, Belgium, Poland, Russia, Sweden, Norway, Iceland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Belarus.
Addressing the convention, which takes place at Lynn’s Hanse House on Friday, May 15, will be Dr Herman Hauser, a science-based innovator and UK Business Ambassador, and Simon Anholt, who advises all levels of government worldwide to develop strategies to promote economic, political and cultural links with other countries. Dr Andreas Prothmann, Minister and Head of Economic Affairs at the German Embassy in London will talk about business opportunities In Germany for UK exporters.
