A trapped lorry created chaos in Lynn town centre for more than 45 minutes yesterday.

The lorry had driven up Norfolk Street before getting into trouble at the junction with Chapel Street at 1.15pm. It is pictured wedged near Snappy Snaps. The driver, who had to continously shunt backwards and forwards, faced problems with the works on Broad Street. There were also issues with pedestrians filing in the gap and a near miss with a cyclist.

Brenda Pearson of Snappy Snaps has called on Norfolk County Council to prevent lorries using Norfolk Street after the shop had been previously damaged.
