Calls for review after teen's death
CALLS for improvements to be made to a Terrington junction have gathered pace this week following the death of a 17-year-old girl.
Kerry Ann Powell died after her Fiat Punto was involved in a collision with a lorry at the junction where Station Road, near the African Violets Centre, Terrington St Clement, meets the A17.
Following the crash, one councillor for Terrington, Brian Long, called for improvements – possibly even a roundabout – to make the area safer.

County figures showed there had been two fatalities at the junction in ten years.
This week, the Lynn News received calls from worried local people, anxious something should be done.
One reader, who did not want to be named, was worried signage in the area was misleading – and wondered if the signs could be looked at.
She also had worries about other junctions joining the A17 in the area, particularly those at Market Lane and King John Bank.
She was concerned vehicles sometimes had to wait in the middle of the road before being able to finish a manoeuvre, feeling this was also inappropriate.
Norfolk County Council spokesman Mrs Melanie Willis said the junction had been looked at following concerns being raised locally.
Signage warned motorists that junctions in the area functioned similar to those of dual carriageways, she said.
The county was awaiting the police report into the latest accident, and any points it would raise.
Miss Powell had been going to work at Bliss in Sutton Bridge at 10.24am on Tuesday, October 23, when the accident happened.
Her boyfriend, Anthony Edwards, who lives in Terrington, had alos been driving in the area of the junction at the time of the accident.
An inquest into her death was opened and adjourned at Norwich on Friday by deputy Norwich coroner Mrs Jacqueline Lake.
A post mortem showed Miss Powell, of Long Sutton, died from multiple injuries.
Her funeral will be held next Tuesday at St Mary's Church, Long Sutton, at 11am.
