Crunch time for Terrington fair

TERRINGTON St Clement's summer fair will not go ahead next year unless more volunteers come forward, the organising committee has warned.

The village community association, which has organised the event for the last two years, needs to attract more members if it is to continue organising the event and members would like to see some new faces at their annual general meeting on Tuesday.

Chairman Mrs Tracy Harrison told the Lynn News: "People are always keen to come along on the day, which is great, but we need more help throughout the year.

"If volunteers don't come forward the association will cease to exist and there will not be a summer fair, which would be a real shame."

This year's event, held in July, attracted around 3,000 people and featured a dog show, live music, fun fair, parade and a variety of stalls.

The meeting is being held at the village hall, in Churchgate Way, from 7.30pm and everyone is welcome to attend.
