Thief demanded woman's bag

A WOMAN was left frightened but unhurt after a thief cycled up to her in The Walks in Lynn and demanded she hand over her bag.

The offender approached the woman from behind while she was walking alone near an iron bridge at 1.30pm on Sunday.

The shocked victim handed over her black shoulder bag, containing an undisclosed quantity of cash, credit cards and prescribed drugs.

The thief then made off towards Tennyson Road. He is described as 6ft tall and slimly built with short brown hair and stubble on his face.
