Lynn Motor Club members have given school children an insight into the exciting world of motorsport.
They took two rally cars to Reepham High School, near Norwich, to show the students how a conventional car can be modified into a fast, but safe competition machine.
Opportunities for involvement in the sport were explored, ranging from how to be an F1 engineer to getting involved in a local event as a marshal.
The club chairman, Mark Banham, said “It’s been a great day for motorsport and for our club. We had huge interest from the students all day. Let’s hope some of them are able to develop this interest into something a bit more serious.”
Mark took along his Suzuki Ignis endurance rally car and Peter Horsburgh took his 1965 Mini Cooper S rally car for the students to check over.
