Lynn’s Greyfriars Primary School stayed open into the evening on Friday when it held its annual carnival. The event, which aims to raise funds for the school on London Road, included a variety of stalls and stands to entertain all ages. The money raised, which this year totalled £2,500, will be used to pay for future day trips and new equipment for the pupils.
Sue Brayson, treasurer of the Friends group which helped to organise the event, praised those connected with the school for the day’s success. “If it wasn’t for the support of the friends, parents and teachers of the school, the event just wouldn’t happen,” she said. MLNF15MF070106
