Youngsters at Castle Acre Primary School pooled their artistic talents when they set to work creating a mosaic tribute to the poppy artwork at the Tower of London, to mark the centenary of the First World War.

A total of 63 children took part, along with staff, in creating their own individual poppy-themed tiles, under the watchful eye of local artist Carolyn Ash.

These tiles were then worked into a larger mosaic, which is to be displayed in the school. Picture: Supplied
