Contours Beauty Salon at Castle Rising has a new owner after its founder who set up the business 20 years ago has decided to retire.

Susan Filby, of Downham, initially started the salon at Knights Hill Hotel, but moved the business nine years ago to its present location in the centre of Castle Rising.

The new owner is Jacqui Leese, of Dersingham, who has managed the salon for the last two years.

Said Jacqui: “Susan has always gone the extra mile for her customers and many of them have been her clients since day one. The training and support she has given to her staff has been second to none and everyone appreciates all that she has done.

“I shall continue to run the business in a similar way as it is very successful. We have a good client base, and I shall be looking to introduce more treatments in the future.”

Over the years, Susan has supported several local charities with open days and offering vouchers as raffle prizes. The good causes Contours has helped include Macmillan, Norfolk Hospice, Tapping House and the Special Care Baby Unit at Lynn’s Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Contours is holding an open day on Thursday, January 29, from 1pm to 8pm, which Susan will attend and customers are welcome to go along to celebrate her retirement. Treatment taster sessions will also be on offer. For more details call 01553 631611.
