Visitors can take a closer look at the renovation of Lynn’s St Nicholas Chapel during two guided tours later this week.

The Meet the Archaeologist events, with Giles Emery of Norvic Archaeology, will take place this Thursday, April 9, from 10am to noon and 1 to 3pm.

The sessions will start with a presentation in the Trues Yard museum.

That will be followed by a guided tour of the site, which gives visitors and supporters the chance to find out more about recent archaeological work in the church yard and tower.

The work has been taking place during the ongoing £2.7 million project to redevelop and renovate the chapel as a modern community arts facility.

Further site tours will also take place next Tuesday, April 14 and on Tuesday, June 9.

Places at any of the sessions must be booked in advance.
