Chance to meet local police team in Marshland

VILLAGERS in the Marshland area can meet their local police team for an informal chat at a series of police surgeries starting on Friday.

Officers from the Terrington Safer Neighbourhood Team will be on hand at a number of community venues to listen to people's concerns and offer advice on policing or crime prevention matters.

The surgeries lead up to, and will help influence, the Community Action Group meeting later in the month, where issues raised by the community are prioritised for action by police and partner organisations.

The surgeries will be held as follows:

Friday , between 5pm and 6pm at Walton Highway Post Office car park, St Pauls Road North, Walton Highway

Wednesday between 2.30pm and 3.30pm at the Woolpack pub car park, Sutton Road, Walpole Cross Keys

Thursday between 2.30pm and 3.30pm at The Walpoles Community Centre car park, off Summer Close, Walpole St Peter

Next Saturday between 5pm and 6pm at The Green, Westfields Estate, Tilney St Lawrence

Residents, business owners and community representatives with an interest in improving the quality of life in their village are being encouraged to attend the next Community Action Group meeting, to be held at West Walton Village Hall between 7.30pm and 9pm next Thursday

To contact the team, call 0845 456 4567 or e-mail sntterrington@norfolk.pnn.police.uk
