A consultation has been launched on plans to build hundreds of new homes on the outskirts of Fakenham.
Up to 900 homes, plus community facilities, open space and employment opportunities, are envisaged for the land between Rudham Stile Lane and the A148.
And, as first reported in the Lynn News on Tuesday, a planning application has already been submitted for the initial phase of the project, which would see a maximum of 84 homes built.
The site of that development is around half-a-mile from the Morrisons supermarket in Clipbush Lane and around 550 metres from the Fakenham Academy.
A North Norfolk District Council spokesman said: “The latest call for comments builds on an earlier consultation undertaken in 2012, which highlighted some key concerns including traffic management and circulation, streets, parking and pedestrian connections, and the location of areas of open space.
“It also prompted various textual amendments which have been incorporated to form a revised document.”
The consultation, which was launched on Monday, runs until October 27.
