Elizabeth Nockolds, West Norfolk Council’s cabinet member for culture, tourism and marketing, has been reappointed to the board of the trust which runs the borough’s leisure venues.
The move was confirmed by the authority’s ruling cabinet during a meeting on Tuesday.
Alive Leisure, which was set up last year, runs Lynnsport and the St James swimming pool in Lynn, the Downham Leisure Centre and the Oasis leisure centre in Hunstanton, as well as Lynn’s Corn Exchange.
Mrs Nockolds’ term as a board member had been due to end next month.
However, she will now remain in the position until the borough council elections in May.
