Ashwicken: Thieves take lectern from locked church

A VALUABLE and very distinctive reading lectern has been stolen from the church in Ashwicken.

The eagle-shaped lectern was stolen from Ashwicken Church between January 15-31.

It was taken from a locked room in the back of the church.

The lectern is five foot tall, made of solid oak and can be unscrewed in the middle.

Anyone with information or who saw anything suspicious during the times stated should contact PC Adam Thompson at Hunstanton Police Station on 101 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
