Did you see Watlington station attack?
Police are appealing for information after a man was repeatedly punched in the head as he bought a ticket at Watlington train station.
Officers from British Transport Police want to hear from anyone who saw the assault on platform one at 2.05pm on Saturday, January 12.
The 20-year-old victim from Lynn was approached by another man who punched him several times to the head, causing him to fall to the floor.
The attacker was described as white, with short brown hair, around 6ft tall and was wearing a white baseball cap.
Police believe he was in the company of a middle-aged couple and a woman.
PC Tony Orton said: “This seems to be an unprovoked assault on the victim, who required hospital treatment for his injuries.
“Two trains arrived into the station at the time of the assault, so I am sure some of the alighting passengers may have witnessed the incident.”
Anyone with information should contact British Transport Police on 0800 405040 quoting B4/LNA of January 21 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
